The recently adopted Educator Effectiveness Model utilizes Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching with the four domains-Domain 1: Planning and Preparation, Domain 2: The Classroom Environment, Domain 3: Instruction, Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities. This year, teachers are expected to complete the Teacher Self-Rating form and create a Student Learning Objective goal and a Professional Practice Goal. The self-rating form and goals will be submitted to the building principal. Probationary teachers and teachers scheduled for an annual evaluation will also have formal classroom observations by the building principal as part of the evaluation process.
