Membership is a nationally recognized honor because the selection criteria and procedure are similar across the country. Selection to the NHS allows you to list your membership on college, scholarship and job applications as well as your personal resume for future needs. It will be another way to give you special recognition for your achievements and character.
The Deerfield National Honor Society has made a commitment to service and completes monthly service projects to aid others within our community. We hold exam prep sessions, an annual Cancer Awareness Week and a Teacher in Paradise day to collect food for the Deerfield Food Pantry, among other activities.
