I began teaching at Deerfield in 2013. Prior to teaching at DES, I taught second grade for one year in a district in south-west Wisconsin. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education, from UW-Eau Claire in December 2011. I obtained my Master's in Education-Reading and Reading Specialist certification from UW-La Crosse in 2023.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family, traveling to new places near and far and being outside. I am looking forward to a great school year and getting to know each of my students and their families. I love being part of the Deerfield school community and am so honored to get to work with you and your child!
