Gr. 4-8 Physical Education/MS Health Email Phone: 608.764.5431 My name is Jason Wierzba and I'm starting my 11th year at Deerfield Community School District after nine years working in the Lake Mills School District. I will be teaching 4-8 physical education, middle school health and k-8 adaptive physical education. I feel very privileged to be working in the school district where my three children (Hank, Elyn and Olin) will go to school.
I grew up in the Stevens Point area and attended Roholt High School and went on to college at UWSP where I received a major in physical education and a minor in health/adaptive education. In my spare time I enjoy running, hiking, boating, camping and everything outdoors.
My goal at Deerfield is to promote healthy habits and give the students knowledge and skills to be able to sustain regular physical activity for a lifetime.
