My name is Marcus Novak, and I am a Social Studies teacher here at Deerfield High School. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Ripon College in 2004. I did my student teaching here at Deerfield and also Indian Mound Middle School in McFarland. I previously taught at Johnson Creek for over 15 years before coming to Deerfield in February of 2022. My wife Erin and I moved to Deerfield in 2007 and have since welcomed two children to our family, Peyton (9th grade) and Beckett (4th grade).
I am currently the head coach for the high school wrestling program...GO DEMONS! I also help coach the high school softball program. Deerfield is my home and I hope to build successful programs in both.
