Hello Everyone:
I am Anthony Howe. This will be my ninth year at Deerfield High School and my 36th year of teaching overall. I look forward to assisting students to better understand mathematics and the world around them. I want to help them improve their ability to use the greatest technology device available to them ...their brains. I try to get the best out of all my students and my motto is "Show me what you know!" Students should be ready to move forward with a growth mindset. We will work together to get better at our problem-solving. This is ultimately what mathematics is about and its main application to the "real world" and the question "when am I ever gonna have to use this?"
First semester, I will be teaching Geometry, Algebra 1, and Math Reasoning. Second semester, I will have Algebra 1 and Geometry.
Currently, I live in Portage. I enjoy bowling, golf and seeing live music. I like to read fiction novels by Lee Child, James Patterson, and David Baldacci. I have two sons and too many cats.
